Hey Oppo,
So I am planning another trip to Vegas and am going to Exotics Racing again. Last time I drove the SLS and it was amazing. I will be driving one of the following cars for 10 laps and you get to pick!
My personal choices are as follows:
Audi R8 V10
Ferrari 458
And the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4
Choose wisely.
BTW I would recommend it to anyone. Sure, I paid $500 to drive the SLS for 10 laps last time, but hey... you get to drive a supercar on a race track with an instructor who is teaching you to go faster... totally worth it.
UPDATE: Looks like the 458 is pushin out the Gallardo. I will give this a few more hours for Oppo to sway me either way.

Would be nice to drive the AWD, for something completely different of the SLS. And between both AWD cars, you obviously choose the lambo, because ridiculous.
On the other hand, it'd be awesome to feel the difference of the SLS to the 458, both being RWD NA V8.

458 because it's the only one with rear wheel drive.

Why not do a combo package? I'm looking into doing this over the summer, and that sounds like a much better option to me.

Take the Ferrari.
The R8/Gallardo is cool though.

Of those three, I would choose the 458. It's got the best transmission of the bunch (assuming the R8 doesn't have the new dual clutch) and it's got dat noise. I heard a few of them running when I was there (I drove the SLS as well) and they sound awesome.

458. All day. Every day.
Or maybe the Gallardo, but I think the Ferrari would sound better and be more fun. And it's a Ferrari. I'm a little biased. Forget the Audi.

The Ferrari and Lamborghini will catch on fire, so Audi.

I've done both their tracks, and the only car I haven't driven on your list is the Lambo (although a friend did). The R8 is well balanced, and will literally allow you to throw the car into a turn (not that you want to, but should you overshoot a gap...). On the flip side, the gear shifts seem way to close together for the speed you'd get out of it. On some of the smaller straights I felt like I'd go up three gears only to gain 30mph and then brake and go back down three gears. Also, the front tires seem to slip out from underneath you even in light acceleration while turning.
The 458 is an amazing machine. It performs so much smoother than the 430 does. I would recommend this one to you. And it sounds awesome.
The Lambo, again I did not drive, but a friend did. I was in the 997 Turbo. I lapped him. Now I will say that this friends driving capabilities are questionable, but even watching other around the track, this car just seemed to be a bit slower. I do not know if that was because it intimidates people, or if it is tuned down (or sensitive TCS / STM), or what.
That being said, If you haven't experienced the 997 Turbo, I HIGHLY suggest that. Its a strange new world, the speed of it, the handling, the feel, it is right. The car is so impressive, it turned my father into a Porsche fan. A man who would often make smug remarks about how he couldn't tell the difference between a 60s Porsche and a brand new Porsche (911). A man who once said that Porsches sound like broken garbage disposals. after driving the 997 all he could say was WOW.

Do the 458.
The R8 is the car you buy . The Super Leggerra is the car you invest in . The 458 is the car you have a one-night stand with. It's almost (but maybe not quite) as fast as the Superlegerra, it's not as rare, but you'll probably feel more excited at the end of the day, unless you're a huge bull fan and can't stand the prancing horse.

I would do the Gallardo, but the Ferrari is for sure the faster car... The R8 is out of question imo, i mean it's just a slower version of the gallardo...
In the end for pure track driving the Ferrari is for sure the best car, but if the Gallardo has a manual and you don't take it, some people on here are probably going to kill you....

Here's the prices for everything:

Yeah you have to schedule exactly when you do it. When you go you will be driving on the track with a bunch of others, so you most likely need an appointment. I think you can show up, but your car options will probably be quite limited.

I was thinking about that, but I don't want to do just 5 laps. My price range is for 2-5 lappers, or just 10 laps with one. I am going to go for the 10 laps in one. Plus by the time you get 5 laps in the car, you really figure out how to push the car to the limit on that track, so I want to push it as far as I can.

I had the chance to go for a spin in my buddies 991 Carrera and I was actually quite impressed. I just don't have any emotional response to 911's... I respect them immensely, but for this experience I want to go more balls-out. Not that the Turbo isn't insane as well.

That's good to know. Maybe I'll narrow it down to a single car myself.

IF you're going to be doing laps, I'd say the 458. The only real difference between the R8 and the Gallardo is a little less power for the R8 and a far better AWD system, so I'd go for the R8 if you want the AWD (the Gallardo's AWD really isn't meant for the track). However, the quintessential track layout is MR, and makes throttle steer more accessible than AWD layouts do, so you would probably learn more from it.

458 hands down. Most trackable car of the bunch.
R8 to me just doesn't seem as far fetched and exotic as the other two. The lambo is sweet and powerful, but it is my opinion that the 458 would be a totally different beast and much quicker than the lambo.
